Job Overview

The NPI Program Manager is responsible for leading initiatives that ensure the smooth translation of engineering drawings into procurement and production requirements. This role involves interpreting and maintaining engineering documents to drive procurement and production requirements, transforming product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners, and creating and maintaining assembly documentation, such as SOPs and APBs.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Interpret and maintain engineering documents to drive procurement and production requirements.
  2. Transform product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners.
  3. Create and maintain assembly documentation, such as SOPs and APBs.
  4. Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) and drive timely closure.
  5. Prepare and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products and create part numbers for components in BOM.
  6. Monitor End-of-Life (EOL) status of products and plan accordingly.
  7. Track and manage obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, and alert the engineering team when required.
  8. Coordinate Development projects from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM-Partner.
  9. Verify and ensure all NPI specifics information/documents are released in JIRA/Confluence.
  10. Manage data integrity within Jira/Confluence and ensure availability with OEM-Partner.
  11. Support and participate in ISO audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  12. Lead pilot builds, resolve issues, and establish repeatable processes for production scaling.
  13. Collaborate with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time and seamless product launches.

Candidate Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Production Engineering.
