Job Summary

The role of a Risk Operations Specialist is to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations while adhering to compliance norms. This includes managing client onboarding, documentation, MIS, transaction oversight, and risk reporting.

Risk Monitoring and Control

The specialist will track hedging positions with respect to exposure, counterparty out standings, pricing analysis, currency exposure, and payment tracking.

Fund-Related Risks

The specialist will monitor and evaluate fund-related risks including market, liquidity, currency, operational, and fund manager risks.

Risk Reporting

The specialist will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports that are clear and concise.

KYC and Onboarding

The specialist will manage client and supplier onboarding ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal KYC requirements.

Client Liaison

The specialist will act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and refiners for all business activities.

Logistics Tracking

The specialist will monitor goods movement coordinate with logistics partners and follow up to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Business Communication

The specialist will maintain effective communication with suppliers, refiners, and clients for trade execution settlements and issue resolution.

MIS and Reporting

The specialist will prepare analyze and publish daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports to management and relevant stakeholders for decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA or MBA from IIMs/Tier-1 B-School
  • 0-2 years in risk management financial products or related operations
  • Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory compliance
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis MIS reporting and risk tools/software
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and execution orientation
