Job Title: Operational Risk Management Expert

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead and Delivery Manager to join our team in the field of operational risk management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and managing independent projects across various operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, developing SOPs and policies, third-party risk management, incident management and reporting, loss data, and business continuity for financial institutions.

The role involves reviewing, verifying, and validating existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices for theoretical soundness, testing design, and identification of control weaknesses. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for meeting business needs and regulatory expectations for assessing key aspects of each area under review.

  • Demonstrate expertise in process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements.
  • Have a very strong understanding of the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles.
  • Be responsible for preparation of proposals, pitch decks, presenting in client meetings, and thought leadership documents across various ORM related areas.
  • Lead and be responsible for team building, mentoring, and project management.
  • Stakeholder management in a project along with project management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational risk management.
  • A bachelor's degree or any other relevant master's program.
  • Preferable additional certifications: Project Management, ORM certifications.
  • Languages: Ability to write and speak fluently in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to GRC tools such as MetricStream, SAP GRC, etc.
  • Addition knowledge of the Basel standards for Operational risk management and related areas.
  • Awareness of the local Regulatory requirements for FIs across banking, insurance, and NBFCs issued by the respective Regulators such as RBI, IRDA, & SEBI.
