Testing Assurance Specialist

This is a unique chance to excel in the role of Controls Testing Lead, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing methodology for critical key controls across global businesses. Your main objective will be to ensure the effectiveness of assurance activities related to resiliency material and critical controls testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing activities as part of the assurance planning process.
- Plan, execute, and manage control tests, including coordinating review processes with key stakeholders and overseeing the work of control testing analysts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports reflecting the results of your work and advise on suitable solutions and remediation activities.
- Present your findings to senior management to secure their approval and agreement to action.
- Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrate exceptional personal integrity at all times.
- Develop strong oral and written communication skills.
- Apply influencing skills and gravitas to secure senior management buy-in to proposed changes.
- Work independently and proactively.
- Employ a commercial and pragmatic approach to governance and change.
- Utilize problem-solving skills with innovative solution proposals.
- Foster an approach that champions collaboration and consultation.
- Hold a degree from a recognized university.
- Possess 4+ years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit, preferably with Big 4 or internal audit background.
- Gain understanding of IT systems and operations.
- Acquire experience performing controls testing.
- Experience with data analytics or continuous monitoring is beneficial.
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and resilient when working in a fast-paced global functional team.
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
- Have broad knowledge of compliance regulation, controls, and an in-depth understanding of risks, assessment methodologies, and assurance activities.
