Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of our Oracle E-Business Suite database.

With 3-5 years of experience in this field, you will have expertise in Oracle Database 12c, 19c, RMAN, Shell scripting, and Oracle SQLNet configuration.

  • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
  • Maintenance of backup and recovery policies and procedures
  • Database design and implementation
  • Implementing and maintaining database security
  • Performing general technical trouble shooting and providing consultation to development teams
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
  • Database tuning and performance monitoring
  • Application tuning and performance monitoring
  • Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD
  • Code Migration Support to Functional Consultants
  • Handling tickets raised by functional/technical/business users
  • Patch Analysis, Application, and Cloning as per schedules
  • Regular database maintenance activities (tablespace management, datapump, purging logfiles etc.)

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in OS like Linux
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts
  • Very good understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 architecture and concepts
  • Monitoring OEM alerts and acting on them
