We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security to ensure the smooth functioning of our databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database concepts and administration, with experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Database Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, ensuring business continuity and minimizing data loss.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Oracle DBA Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates with basic knowledge of Oracle database administration can apply.
  • Oracle Database Administration: Understanding of Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle Database: Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • SQL and PL/SQL: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write efficient and effective database code.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), including configuration, management, and monitoring of database environments.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Understanding of database security best practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
