Job Title: BIM Modeler

  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software packages, AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Key Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software packages, AutoCAD and MicroStation. This role requires a strong understanding of building information modeling principles, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software packages, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent working knowledge of BIM software packages, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
  • Strong understanding of building information modeling principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of fire protection and detection systems, including NFPA and BS standards.
  • Ability to create and modify fire protection drawings, fire detection and alarm/models based on NFPA, BS and local standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary.
