Job Title: BIM Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for creating and editing drawings models in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Creation and editing of drawings models in compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce accurate BIM/Revit, Bentley/MicroStation, and AutoCAD 2D drawings and 3D models to agreed deadlines.
  • Excellent working knowledge of fire protection and detection and alarm design, modeling, and service coordination.
  • Completion of tasks received from engineers.
  • Should also be familiar with other Autodesk software such as AutoCAD and Navisworks.
  • Ensure drawings are issued and filed in an appropriate manner.
  • Develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field.
  • Ensure that health and safety is embedded into all work practices.
  • Provide regular work status updates to line manager.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Attend team and project meetings as required.
  • Support the company's approach to sustainability.
  • Identify improvements to enhance service to clients.
  • Lead by example and ensure quality management system compliance across team.
  • Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of BIM software packages, AutoCAD/MicroStation.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed fire protection, fire detection and alarm drawings.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Bentley and REVIT Software.
  • Ability to interact with other teams within the business to advance coordination on projects.
