As a BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating and developing accurate 3D models using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage. You will work closely with the project team to ensure smooth coordination between the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the BIM model.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in BIM modelling, a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, or relevant field, and be proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage. They should also have knowledge of MEP systems and their coordination within a BIM environment, familiarity with clash detection and resolution techniques, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 3D models using BIM software.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth coordination between MEP systems.
- Conduct clash detection analysis using BIM tools to identify potential interferences and clashes.
- Work closely with the MEP team to ensure proper integration of systems.
- Generate accurate quantity take-offs for MEP components and systems.
- Participate in regular coordination meetings with the project team to discuss specific design issues and clash resolutions.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced BIM Technician who possesses the following qualities:
- Minimum 3 years experience in BIM modelling.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, or relevant field.
- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and their coordination within a BIM environment.
- Familiarity with clash detection and resolution techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
