About the Role

You will work on high-profile projects involving financial data analysis, investment research, and risk modelling. This opportunity allows you to engage in multiple mini-projects or take up a focused innovation-based research project.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing for large-scale financial datasets.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to drive equity research, fixed income research, portfolio management, and economic analysis.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques to complex financial problems such as credit risk modelling, probability of default, and value-at-risk estimation.
  • Work with vast data sources including financial reports, macroeconomic datasets, and alternative investment data.
  • Utilize Python, Excel, or R to analyze, visualize, and model financial data effectively.
  • Participate in pioneering research projects related to quantitative trading, financial derivatives, and portfolio optimization.
