Job Overview

You'll collaborate with other Engineers, Product Managers, and underwriters to develop, improve, and deploy machine learning models and solve complex problems. Our emphasis is on software engineering skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create signals from structured and unstructured data to identify high-quality borrowers for credit decisions.
  • Automate customer service interactions using machine learning and NLP techniques.
  • Identify patterns of fraudulent behavior and develop models to detect and prevent these behaviors.
  • Work cross-functionally with policy and product teams to enhance processes and drive innovation.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience building software in a production environment, preferably in a startup or early-stage setting.
  • Excellent software engineering and programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL.
  • A diverse range of data skills, including experimentation, statistics, and machine learning.
  • A deep understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and data pipelines in production.
  • Self-motivation and ability to learn new skills independently.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
