Job Description

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of regulation, business strategy, and policy advocacy. It requires creativity, analytical rigor, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.

The individual will act as both a strategic analyst and an execution partner to senior leadership, helping to frame policy narratives, manage external engagement, and guide internal stakeholders on regulatory implications that affect various businesses across multiple sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate policy positions across different ecosystems.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze competition, market, and regulatory trends & provide strategic updates to support policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
  • Support in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong policy, legal, and regulatory acumen in telecom and digital industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to create compelling arguments in both technical and non-technical language.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lateral thinker with a problem-solving mindset and intellectual creativity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
