Policy Researcher Role

We are seeking a skilled Policy Researcher to support our policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design initiatives.

  • This role involves conducting applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • The selected candidate will analyse large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Drafting policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers is also an essential part of this role.
  • Engaging with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to roundtables, workshops, and consultations on policy challenges.
  • Supporting project design, proposal development, research project management, and internal capability building will also be key responsibilities.
Key Requirements
  • A Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputable institution is required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python) is essential.
  • The ability to design and independently manage research projects is also critical.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills are must-haves.
  • Adherence to research timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced policy environment is vital.
