Environmental Health and Safety SAP Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP projects based on S/4HANA, requiring strong collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience working as an SAP EHS Consultant/Analyst
  • Configure sub-modules like Specification Management, Global Label Management, Dangerous Goods Management
  • Configure Product Safety sub-module including Report Shipping functionalities and dealing with customizations
  • Proficient in Substance Volume Tracking configuration and related customizations
  • Experienced in dealing with EHS data interfaces including regulatory data updates, SDS indexing, DG Master data etc.
  • Vision for how the new SAP Product Compliance will fit in & what migrations may be needed
  • Conduct requirements/design workshops to understand and segregate standard OOTB vs. gaps/custom
  • In-depth familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology for running transformation programs
  • Develop custom objects and coordinate testing with business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders

This role involves developing, performing analysis and research of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. A strong understanding of business processes associated with SAP Environmental Health and Safety team is essential.
