Civil Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced civil project manager to lead the successful delivery of residential and commercial projects from inception to completion.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management: Oversee project planning, scheduling, tracking, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Planning & MIS: Develop and maintain management information systems to monitor project progress.
  • Project Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, including DPR, WPR, and MPR.
  • Tender & Estimation Management: Manage tender processes, estimate costs, and negotiate contracts.
  • Contracts Management: Administer contracts, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
  • Cash Flow Analysis & S-Curve Analysis: Analyze cash flow and project timelines to identify areas for improvement.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project demands.
  • Purchase/Procurement of Materials: Source and procure materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Budgeting & Estimation Works: Establish and manage budgets, estimating costs accurately.
  • Management Information System preparations: Develop and maintain management information systems to inform project decisions.
  • Work Break-down Structure of Project Charter: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • MS Project & Primavera P6: Utilize project management software to plan, schedule, and control projects.
  • Project Monitoring, Project Controlling, SAP, ERP, FIDIC Knowledge: Apply knowledge of project monitoring and controlling principles, as well as familiarity with SAP, ERP, and FIDIC practices.

  • A proven track record of managing residential and commercial projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
