Design Structure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Design Structure Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing body structure system commodities, including under-body and upper-body structures, roof subsystems, panels, and brackets.

As a Design Structure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

  • Design and develop body structure system commodities, including under-body and upper-body structures, roof subsystems, panels, and brackets.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including resistance spot welding, self-pierce riveting, and forming draw stamping.
  • Utilize CATIA V5 & V6 to create parametric 3D proposals, defining materials, creating components, and assembly drawings with applicable drawing standards.
  • Conduct packaging studies, environmental checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory and functional requirements.
  • Ensure system, sub-system, and component interfaces meet required targets, including DVA, Optical, and Perceived Quality.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in automotive Body Structure systems.
