This leadership role is responsible for directing a team of professionals to drive business growth through effective execution of strategies and plans. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high-quality results.
About the RoleThe Director will lead a cross-functional team, collaborating with global partners to influence strategy execution timing and educate global teams on key decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 35-50 members, developing and driving actions to achieve key deadlines and quality expectations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short-term (12 months) and long-term (24 months) strategies to ensure operational excellence.
- Cross-Pyramid Collaboration: Drive collaboration across pyramids in the organization, growing contextual knowledge and understanding downstream impacts of team decisions.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- 17+ years of overall experience, preferably in brick-and-mortar retail, inventory management, merchandise planning, visual merchandising, space and presentation, and related domains.
- Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to be a leader of leaders.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
