Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Operations Role

This position is a pivotal component of the organization's operations, responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate settlement of various financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise cash flow management across multiple schemes of Mutual Funds.
  • Conduct thorough stock reconciliations for operations in Mutual Funds.
  • Ensure SEBI compliance by providing audit-related data and preparing required MIS for management and other external parties.
  • Prepare accurate cash flow information on deals settlement, corporate actions, security masters reporting trades, and update issuer rating, AMFI sectorsubsector checking listing status and interest payment dates.
  • Coordinate with Custodian and various counterparties including banks.
  • Handle Fixed Deposit Placement Settlement and provide support to process borrowings.
  • Monitor margin funding and utilization of cash and Placement Withdrawal of securities in SLR and derivatives.
  • Process Mutual Fund deals Subscription and Redemption in ETF and Non-ETF schemes.
  • Develop systems based on regulatory changes and enhancement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle settlements independently.
  • Good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Sound knowledge of entire settlement process for SLR/NSLR and Equity markets both primary and secondary trades.
  • Computers hands-on experience.
  • Willingness to work long hours as required.

Role Specific Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Indian Capital markets banking and financial services industry.
  • SEBI Mutual Fund regulations related to settlement process Reporting Requirements.
  • SEBI guidelines for Mutual Fund Investment limits Risk Management etc.
  • Mutual Fund banking Operations and Settlements.
  • Interface with fund managers dealers risk team IT counter parties fund accountants custodians brokers auditors member of exchange.

Formal Qualifications/Prior Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 Yrs relevant experience in Mutual Fund Operations/Fund Accounting.
