Senior E-commerce Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior E-commerce Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our online sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our presence and performance on online marketplaces and D2C channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage product listings, inventory management, pricing strategies, sales optimization, and customer service across various online marketplaces and D2C channels.
  • Analyze marketplace performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to optimize product listings for higher visibility and conversion.
  • Conduct competitor analysis of pricing, marketing, and new products to stay ahead in the market.
  • Ensure accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, pricing, and keywords across all platforms.
  • Monitor competitor listings and implement improvements based on trends and best practices.

Product Listings & Content Management:

  • Create and optimize product listings across various marketplaces and D2C channels to ensure maximum visibility and conversion.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality product content, including product descriptions, images, and videos that showcase our products in the best light.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock situations or overstocking, ensuring timely restocking and dispatching.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery.

Pricing & Promotions:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that remain competitive within the market, taking into account seasonal fluctuations, promotions, and market trends.
  • Create and manage promotional campaigns, discounts, and bundles to drive sales and attract new customers.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer reviews to assess marketplace performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders regarding performance and trends, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product availability and quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing online marketplaces and D2C channels, with a track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and data analytics software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to create actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
