Remote E-commerce Quality Assurance Specialist

E-commerce quality assurance specialists are in high demand as online shopping continues to grow. As a detail-oriented E-commerce Tester, you will act like a real customer and evaluate websites from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned websites and understand their purpose.
  • Follow a step-by-step checklist and record your findings.
  • Test key user flows (like browsing products, adding to cart, and checking out).
  • Spot and report issues like broken links, confusing content, or accessibility problems.
  • Verify payment methods (credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) and complete test transactions.

Tools You'll Need:

  • Web browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge (on desktop and mobile).
  • Screen capture tools: Loom, CleanShot, or similar.
  • Task tracking: Jira, Asana, Trello.
  • Docs: Google Docs/Sheets, Notion.
  • Security tools: Password manager, VPN (if needed).
