The role of a Cloud Architect at Tarlton.io is to design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure for nationwide high-traffic platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and maintaining AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53).
  • Automating deployments, scaling and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery and multi-cloud redundancy.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices across AWS services.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.
Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in Linux administration, networking and security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
