Job Opportunity: API and Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to support testing efforts across various APIs and software components.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating integrations, conducting performance and GUI testing, and maintaining automation frameworks in multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans for APIs (e.g. TMF 638, TMF 641).
  • Test REST/SOAP APIs using JMeter, Postman, and standard tools.
  • Validate integrations across IT systems and software components (NaaS, SD-WAN, SASE).
  • Conduct API and GUI testing across browsers and operating systems.
  • Perform testing in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Postman, Jenkins.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and support resolution.
  • Document test strategies, plans, and reports.
  • Assess API performance and identify workflow bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • Experience with APIs and REST/SOAP testing.
  • Understanding of NaaS architecture and onboarding flows.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Meraki, Fortinet).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Cypress) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC).
  • Experience in Linux and Windows testing environments.
  • Ability to lead QA teams and manage test cycles.
  • Performance and design validation testing experience.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
