Job Description

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium for UI testing and API testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to validate both front-end and back-end components of web applications. You will collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python.
- Design and execute automated API tests for REST and SOAP services using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or SoapUI.
- Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing across browsers and platforms.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Maintain test data and support test environment setup

Your profile

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python.
- Proficiency in API testing tools: REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest frameworks.
- Solid understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and status codes.
- Familiarity with XPath, CSS selectors, and dynamic element handling.
- Version control using Git and repository platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
