Job Description">

As a NPI Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of buyers to support the successful implementation of new business wins. This involves coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and manage new parts and ECRs from setup to customer approval and shipment.

You will also be responsible for cross-functional collaboration, DOB reporting, PO review and approval, supplier performance, ECR management, customer escalations and reviews, issue resolution, commercial coordination, KPI monitoring, gap buy sourcing, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of buyers to support the successful implementation of new business wins.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Manage new parts and ECRs from setup to customer approval and shipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve delivery performance and resolve delivery or quality issues promptly.
  • Monitor Engineering Change Requests to ensure smooth phase-in/phase-out transitions, avoiding shortages and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and lead weekly customer reviews to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Identify and address gaps or issues during implementation.
  • Work with the Commercial team to resolve pricing, MOQ, and lead time issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills and proficiency with Office 365 tools. They should also possess demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to comply with company procedures and policies, and excellent Communication skills - verbal and written.
