Job Title

A Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and driving business growth in the assigned market. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, marketing, and management.

About the Role

  • The Business Development Manager will lead the development and implementation of all sales strategies in the assigned market.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales, ensuring brand presence in the assigned market.
  • Manage the distributor network to achieve desired sales/business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective customer management plans to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly sales targets by promoting company products ethically to customers as per the business plan.
  • Holding science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for the promotion of products in clinics and at chemist places.
  • Organizing camps (CMEs) as per divisional strategy and customer needs.
  • To plan and conduct merchandising and sampling activities as per divisional strategy.
  • Facilitate the process of successful new product/ products launch in the territory by undertaking correct identification and targeting customers for the new product, meeting them at pre-determined intervals, effective in clinic/trade promotion and sharing feedback with the company.
  • Executing customer management plans to ensure that all customers are covered as per the plan and meet minimum KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or management.
  • Strong background in sales, marketing, and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

The Business Development Manager will work primarily from an office environment but may require occasional travel to different locations. This role involves continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).
