System Administrator Job Description

Role Overview:

As a seasoned System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing enterprise-level platforms, including JAMF administration, Microsoft Intune device management, and endpoint protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage EUC platforms using JAMF Pro/Cloud to ensure seamless MAC device management, user identity, and endpoint protection.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune device management and policy configuration to maintain a secure environment.
  • Ensure security compliance across the global endpoint estate by implementing best practices in vulnerability management, patching, and Evergreen upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy, and security patches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology initiatives and enhance overall system performance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for macOS, Windows 10/11, and Evergreen across all EUC platforms (Laptop, PC, VDI).
  • Develop and implement custom solutions to address non-standard requirements or provide additional value to clients.
  • Manage product enhancements via Agile processes with Product Owners and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Provide management reporting of end-to-end services via PowerBI and ensure the EUC estate meets all audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive technical experience covering JAMF Administration on JAMF Pro/JAMF Cloud, Microsoft Intune device management, Microsoft Autopilot maintenance, and engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of build task sequence in SCCM, Group Policy, and Active Directory troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in a compliance-driven environment and ability to deliver custom solutions to address non-standard requirements.
  • Strong understanding/experience of Remote access technologies and client troubleshooting – Pulse VPN, NetScaler, Zscaler Cloud Proxy, Active Directory and Group Policy, Azure AD, PKI infrastructure – Certificate Management and NDES.
  • Office 365.

Professional Skills:

  • MacOS, Windows 10/11, and Evergreen expertise.
  • Knowledge of JAMF administration, Microsoft Intune device management, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with SCCM, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • Remote access technologies and client troubleshooting.
  • Compliance-driven environment and custom solution development.
  • Agile process management and product enhancement.
