Live End-to-End Underwriter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Live End-to-End Underwriter to join our team. As an experienced professional with 3.5+ years of underwriting expertise, you will be responsible for performing live underwriting tasks with complete end-to-end case ownership.

You will evaluate borrower profiles using the 4 Cs of Credit – Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral. Your duties will include conducting detailed credit report reviews for accurate risk assessment, working on both UK Mortgage and US Mortgage underwriting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Live Underwriting: Complete end-to-end case ownership and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Evaluate Borrower Profiles: Use the 4 Cs of Credit to assess borrower suitability.
  • Conduct Credit Report Reviews: Accurately assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Work on UK Mortgage and US Mortgage Underwriting: Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.5 Years of Underwriting Experience: Proven track record of success in live underwriting.
  • Strong Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: High accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage relationships.
