Role: Lead Data Scientist

We seek a highly skilled data expert to join our AI research team.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Running end-to-end projects (Business understanding, Data preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment)
  • Analyzing and interpreting data insights
  • Drawing conclusions and recommendations including expected benefits and measuring ROI for enhancing business processes
  • Supporting sales activities and initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts
  • Experience with Machine Learning especially in Generative AI with focus on Natural Language Processing or multi-modal models
  • Expertise in gathering business requirements transforming them into technical plans data processing feature engineering models evaluation hypothesis testing and model deployment
  • Fluency in Python working knowledge of SQL and vector databases
  • Knowledge of specific DS/ML/CVGenAI/NLP libraries like NumPy Keras TensorFlow PyTorch HuggingFace LangChain and GenAI APIs
Nice to Have

A proven track record of commercial experience would be beneficial.

You will also be expected to have:

  • Good computer programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
  • Expertise in cloud resources Databricks
  • Hands-on experience with Docker containerization
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems
  • Ability to lead small technical teams on projects
