Job Summary:

Safety Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to lead our Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) studies and develop robust safety concepts across the product lifecycle.

This pivotal role ensures compliance with safety standards and shapes the safety architecture of next-generation systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define safety goals, derive functional safety requirements, and implement safety strategies that meet industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or equivalent safety standards, as well as experience with HARA, FMEA, FTA, and safety lifecycle methods and processes. Additionally, proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion) and Safety Analysis tools (e.g Isograph, Medini) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) studies

  • Develop and maintain safety documentation and records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in functional safety engineering, preferably in automotive or industrial domains
  • Certified Functional Safety Engineer (e.g., TÜV SÜD, SGS-TÜV)
  • Experience with safety-critical embedded systems and control software (up to ASIL D)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434)
  • Exposure to ADAS, autonomous systems, or electrified powertrains
