The role of a senior financial professional is to oversee the development of comprehensive financial strategies for an organization. As a strategic business partner, this individual must be comfortable handling complex data and working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, Treasury management, Payroll accounting, and Fixed Assets accounting.
  • Coordinate month-end activities, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports to the Management group.
  • Conduct ratio analysis and perform logical reasoning in GL to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor GST, TDS, and other tax compliances.
  • Measure performance and prepare monthly KPI metrics.
  • Adhere to information security and control procedures.
  • Perform first-level appraisals for the team and provide guidance on career paths within the organization.
  • Identify training requirements for the team and conduct sessions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, specifically in General Ledger (GL).
  • Possess excellent knowledge of double-entry accounting principles.
  • Good exposure to finance and accounting concepts.
  • Strong command over English and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities.
  • High degree of integrity and commitment to data confidentiality.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, VB, and Power tools.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as HFM and Essbase is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP would be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of post-article-ship experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in a Manufacturing Industry.
