Job Overview:The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving performance testing strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include designing and scripting load, stress, and scalability testing, as well as delivering comprehensive reports to project teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain technical expertise in performance/load testing principles and best practices.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting Cloud (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for software system utilization.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor server metrics using Application Performance Monitoring tools.
  • Prioritize and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance automation effectiveness and efficiency.
Operational Management
  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, volume testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure.
  • Provide performance testing software systems support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute creation of test cases, scripts, and performance test execution.
  • Design, develop, and execute scripts to validate test cases defined within project test plans.
People Leadership
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
Governance & Risk
  • Track and communicate task progress, status, and key performance metrics.
  • Report defects found in testing using standard defect tracking tool.

Experience & Personal Attributes
  • 7+ years of performance testing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner and protocols such as Citrix, RDP, Java, and performance testing mobile technologies.
  • Significant experience working with Apache JMeter and Application Performance Monitoring tools like New Relic and Grafana.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing principles, techniques, and standards, including test design, execution, reporting, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) processes and practices, including agile, waterfall, and DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools and practices, including Jenkins, Azure Repo, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
