We are seeking a highly skilled Cash and FX Management Expert to lead our Treasury Operations in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash management processes, ensuring sufficient funding always available in an effective and controlled manner. They will also be responsible for hedging FX exposures through appropriate instruments, optimizing overall Cost of Funds for APAC markets and minimizing idle cash needs for operating business.

  • Lead a team of 4-5 Treasury Analysts and Managers to ensure timely completion of daily cash management processes for a cluster of markets across the APAC region with different banking cut-offs.
  • Proactively monitor cash flows including forecasting of cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Daily clearing of FX exposures through FX trades.
  • Prepare annual and periodic forecasting of Cost of Funds for the APAC markets.

The ideal candidate will have an MBA or post-graduate degree in Finance/Economics, with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in a Treasury function. They should have a strong understanding of foreign exchange, derivative instruments, liquidity management, and accounting concepts.

They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lead, empower staff, and maintain teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Able to conduct meetings with colleagues from different levels, they should have a deep understanding of Treasury domain and its role in the overall Finance organization.

Requirements
  • MBA or post-graduate degree in Finance/Economics.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a Treasury function.
  • Excellent understanding of Treasury domain and role it plays in overall Finance organization.
  • Knowledge of different funding solutions like bank borrowings, overdrafts, and bank account structures.
  • Experience in daily operations with multiple time cut-offs.
  • Experience with automation tools and advanced excel skills would be highly desirable.
  • Firsthand experience on Treasury management systems would be highly desirable.
