Job Title: Insurance Management Professional

As an insurance management professional, you will oversee the organization's insurance matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform due diligence and core analysis of various risks to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Evaluate risks and explore new market products to benefit the organization.
  • Maintain a database of all insurance policies and take necessary actions on expiry for renewal.
  • Conduct critical analysis of insurance claims considering IRDA guidelines and follow up with insurance companies for expeditious settlement.
  • Provide timely recommendations to management for appropriate insurance covers.
  • Oversee overall management of insurance matters to achieve efficiency, cost competitiveness, and adequate risk coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of general insurance matters, including fire, machinery breakdown, and employee policies.
  • In-depth understanding of IRDA guidelines and insurance rules/circulars.
  • Expertise in settling insurance claims and good negotiation skills.
Qualifications
  • MBA from a reputed institute with specialized knowledge in insurance matters.
  • 15-20 years of experience exclusively in insurance matters, preferably as a retired Sr. Official from an insurance company.
