Job Opportunity: Insurance Risk Manager

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the organization's insurance coverage is adequate.
  • Evaluate new market products to enhance the organization's risk management capabilities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of all insurance policies, ensuring timely renewal and follow-up actions on expiries.
  • Analyze insurance claims critically, considering their impact on the organization, and coordinate with insurance companies for expedited settlements.
  • Provide recommendations to management on suitable insurance covers to attain efficiency, cost competitiveness, and adequate risk coverage.
  • Oversee all insurance matters to optimize risk management and minimize costs.

Skill Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge in general insurance to manage risks and implement various policies.
  • Thorough understanding of IRDA guidelines and insurance company rules/circulars.
  • Proficiency in settling insurance claims effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience working with multiple insurance companies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBA from a reputable institute with specialized knowledge in insurance matters.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in insurance-related roles is required. Priority will be given to retired senior officials from insurance companies.
