Job Title: Insurance Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to drive our insurance strategies forward. As a seasoned professional, you will analyze potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure maximum protection for the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders to deliver optimal insurance solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and Presenting Comparative Quotes: Prepare and present comparative quotes for new policies and renewals.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Analyze potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Staying Informed on Industry Trends: Stay informed on industry trends and developments to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Claim Filing Processes: Support claim filing processes and advise management on methodologies for optimal loss value.
  • Report Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on claims performance, costs, and trends for senior management.
  • Regular Checks/Audits: Conduct regular checks/audits of claim files to ensure quality and compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Expert Knowledge on Insurance Matters: Expert knowledge on insurance matters, including covering desired risks for the organization and taking various policies.
  • Good Working Knowledge of Insurance Affairs: Good working knowledge of day-to-day affairs of insurance matters, including updates on IRDA guidelines.
  • Sufficient Knowledge on Settling Claims: Sufficient knowledge on settling various insurance claims.
  • Negotiation Skills: Good negotiation skills to secure competitive premiums on non-tariff policies without compromising risks.
  • Insurance Company Experience: Exposure to working closely with various insurance companies.

As a preferred candidate, you should hold an MBA/M.com with specialized knowledge and experience in insurance matters. A minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar role is also required.
