Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This includes collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Perform regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
