Market Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Market Analyst to join our market research and trading team. As a key member, you will be responsible for conducting market analysis, preparing technical reports, and assisting traders in identifying trading opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Monitor daily stock market movements, economic news, and sectoral performance.
    • Assist in preparing technical and fundamental analysis reports on stocks, indices, and sectors.
    • Track company earnings, balance sheets, and financial ratios for investment analysis.
    • Analyze charts, patterns, and indicators using tools like TradingView or similar platforms.
  • Trading Support:
    • Assist traders in identifying trading opportunities in equity, derivatives (options and futures), and intraday positions.
    • Help prepare trade setups, risk/reward calculations, and entry/exit strategies.
    • Simulate trades or paper trade under guidance to learn execution, risk control, and stop-loss management.
    • Record and maintain daily trading journal including learnings and outcomes.
  • Tools & Platforms:
    • Learn and work with trading and analysis tools such as trading platforms (e.g., Zerodha Kite, Upstox, Angel One, etc.).
    • Charting software (e.g., TradingView, MetaTrader, etc.).
    • Market scanners and screeners (e.g., Screener.in, Investing.com, NSE/BSE tools).
  • Data Collection & Reporting:
    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing financial and market data.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on market performance and portfolio analysis.
    • Work on Excel-based dashboards, macros, or Google Sheets for tracking trades and indicators.
  • Learning & Development:
    • Attend internal training sessions on trading psychology, portfolio management, and technical indicators.
    • Learn risk management techniques including position sizing, stop-loss levels, and diversification.
    • Gain exposure to both discretionary and algorithmic trading environments, depending on the team structure.
