Chemical Synthesis Specialist

This role involves the synthesis of chemical compounds using various techniques and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of organic chemistry and be able to design and execute complex syntheses.
Responsibilities:- Design and execute synthetic schemes for given targets
- Identify rate limiting steps and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform literature searches and use predictive synthesis tools
- Conduct reactions, workups, and purifications of compounds using various techniques
- Record observations and results in laboratory notebooks or electronic records
- 6-9 years of experience in synthetic chemistry
- Deeper knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms
- Excellent analytical interpretation and purification skills
- Familiarity with operations of relevant apparatus and instruments
- M.Sc. in general or organic chemistry
