  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers focused on developing scalable localization platforms, tools, and infrastructure. Foster growth through regular feedback, coaching, and career guidance to ensure professional development.
  • Create and implement the technical roadmap for localization tooling, ensuring alignment with product objectives and industry best practices. Provide hands-on leadership in system architecture, design reviews, and code quality oversight.
  • Identify opportunities for improving localization workflows, automation, and scalability. Implement best practices within CI/CD pipelines and guarantee efficient content translation and adaptation.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators for localization engineering efforts, including system performance, translation quality, and engineering productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers across teams and departments.
  • Work closely with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable.
  • Provide ongoing support for your applications and/or services as needed.

What you need to bring:

  • 12+ years of experience in building robust, fault-tolerant software applications or products.
  • 4+ years of managing a team of skilled Software Engineers.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-level applications using programming languages like Java.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, NoSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create user-friendly features and interfaces.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Able to lead, organize, and manage projects from start to finish requiring coordination across multiple functions.
  • Able to thrive in dynamic environments and drive outcomes with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. Be a positive change agent with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Prior success in hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams of Software Engineers.
