Workday Solution Architect

Job Summary:

The Workday Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise-level solutions within the Workday environment.

  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise-level solutions within the Workday environment.
  • Optimize financial systems to lead strategic enhancements across Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise technologies while aligning solutions to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Product Owners, IT Product Managers, Technical Architects, Compliance, and development/support teams.
  • Align product strategy and roadmap with organizational priorities by working closely with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Maintain deep expertise in Workday HCM and other Workday modules as well as related business applications.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures that prioritize scalability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee and support Workday integrations with external systems to ensure data consistency and security.
  • Provide expert-level support in Workday configuration, optimization, and customization.
  • Define technical requirements and assist in creating epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Guide development teams, enforcing adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Explore and recommend use cases for innovative or emerging technologies relevant to Workday and enterprise architecture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in a Workday architecture role.
  • Proven expertise in Workday HCM and related modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday's security framework and business process configuration.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design methodologies.
  • Workday certifications are required.
