About the Role

At M-Squared, we are on a mission to empower businesses with actionable insights that drive revenue growth. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging data and statistical models to support incrementality testing, providing valuable recommendations to clients.

Your daily tasks will include running market selection and design tests, analyzing results using statistical models and methods, creating data visualizations, and collaborating with other departments to drive data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, or computer science, with experience in advanced analytics and data manipulation. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL is essential, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Selection & Design Tests: Run models to perform market selection and design tests, analyzing results to identify key drivers of revenue growth.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Use statistical models and methods to analyze test result data, creating compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions, communicating complex technical concepts effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or Economics.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Incrementality Testing: Experience with incrementality testing, spike attribution, MMM, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Technology Platforms: Familiarity with marketing technology platforms and data sources.
