Health, Safety and Environmental Excellence Leader

The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) team plays a vital role in championing health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all locations.
This includes leading the HSE function, strengthening our food safety culture, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards. Key responsibilities include managing internal and external audits, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their expectations, and calibrating our processes accordingly.
Additionally, the HSE Lead will leverage strong partnerships with culinary, procurement teams to execute company standards and exceed client expectations, enhancing the user experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure HSE strategy is understood and consistently followed at all sites.
- Strengthen food safety culture by leveraging technology and aligning employees with group objectives.
- Design and implement a robust structure for risk assessment and compliance with relevant food safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance metrics.
- Oversee effective delivery of all HSE training across locations.
- Gain deep understanding of client's HSE requirements and expectations, implementing improvement plans as needed.
- Conduct critical risk assessments during pre-mobilization phase of new locations.
- Take full accountability for client issues and escalations related to HSE performance.
- Define clear performance standards for team, aligning them with regional HSE delivery metrics.
- Identify and address development needs of direct reports through internal and external training and certifications.
- Cultivate talent pipeline through effective coaching and aspiration management.
- Identify best practices within industry and implement them within operations.
- Continuously work towards process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
