Business Development Manager

Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our sales division, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of sales representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.
The ideal candidate will have 16+ years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions or services to mid-market customers across various verticals. You will be required to sell and promote the sales of Oracle products to customers, including negotiating price, other concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale.
You will also participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division, build working relationships with license, consulting, and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans, and develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.
In addition, you will generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts, accurately predict revenue on a monthly basis, manage escalation, conduct weekly progress meetings with sales teams, and overall responsibility for the region's sales, third-party alliances, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your passion, knowledge, and customer-centricity. We look for candidates with a validated understanding of the IT industry cloud landscape and market, as well as proficiencies in building value propositions and positioning strong proposals.
You should have past experience of having sold Oracle/Microsoft/Open Source Technology offerings and Oracle/Azure/AWS Cloud Certification is desirable. People management experience is also essential.
Target Customer Segment:
You will be targeting mid-market customers in various industries to sell Oracle technology licenses and cloud (PaaS and IaaS) solutions.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
