About this role:

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to join our Product Integrity, Sustainability & Compliance Technology team. As a key member of our global engineering practice, you will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions that drive our business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering, with experience working with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications using programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about software engineering, has a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly, and can effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible.
  • Eight to 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3.
  • Familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
