Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer

As a highly skilled computer vision and machine learning engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing AI-powered solutions for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement classical image processing pipelines and computer vision algorithms for image analysis and object detection.
  • Integrate machine learning models with PyTorch/TensorFlow into ONNX/TensorRT/NNAPI/NPU runtimes for real-time event detection and processing.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to develop and optimize datasets, training, and evaluation procedures for ML models.
  • Develop and maintain clean, testable C++ code using CMake builds and Git-based workflows.
  • Instrument logging and telemetry for debugging and profiling purposes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in modern C++ on Linux with strong Git and CMake skills.
  • Strong foundation in image processing and computer vision fundamentals, including camera models, intrinsics/extrinsics, distortion, PnP, epipolar geometry.
  • Practical experience integrating computer vision and machine learning models on device with OpenCV + ONNX Runtime/TensorRT/NCNN/MediaPipe/NNAPI.
  • Experience building real-time video processing pipelines with GStreamer/FFmpeg, RTSP/RTMP, ring buffers, and optimizing for latency & memory.
  • Proficiency in multithreading/concurrency, lock-free queues, and producer-consumer designs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of monocular depth estimation, stereo matching, or structure from motion for distance estimation.
  • Model training exposure (PyTorch/TensorFlow): augmentation, evaluation (precision/recall, ROC/PR), quantization/pruning, conversion to ONNX/TensorRT/NCNN.
  • Hardware acceleration (GPU/VPU/NPU, Arm NEON/DSP), YOLO/RT DETR/Lightweight backbones on edge.
  • Cross-compiling, Yocto/Buildroot, containerized toolchains; unit tests (gtest), static analysis (clang tidy, cppcheck), sanitizers.
  • Basic familiarity with MQTT/IoT, message schemas, and over-the-air updates.
