AI Software Engineer - Data Insights Specialist

Elimai is looking for an experienced AI software engineer with a strong background in machine learning and data insights to join our team.

We empower key institutions to leverage data for critical issues. Our comprehensive analysis provides valuable insights that were previously inaccessible.

As a qualified software engineer, you will co-assist in designing, building, and scaling production-ready AI systems. This role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with applied machine learning expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build robust backend systems and APIs to deploy and scale ML solutions using cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Implement ML lifecycle workflows from experiment tracking to orchestration.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in a startup environment.
  • Contribute to end-to-end product development: data ingestion, preprocessing, model serving, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Embed intelligent agents, predictive models, and decision-making capabilities into backend workflows using Predictive learning through ML algorithms.
  • Develop scalable, distributed systems with MERN, Python, Golang, and Java programming languages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in CS, Data Science, AI/ML
  • 1-3 years of experience in backend development with a focus on scalability.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL/MongoDB databases.
  • MLOps & Infrastructure: Knowledge of MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Cloud & Infra: AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Azure AI.
  • Versioning & Collaboration: Git, GitHub/GitLab, code reviews, unit testing.
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code with strong debugging & testing discipline.
