Procurement Expert Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Procurement Expert to leverage strong background in procurement, excel in negotiation and communication skills, and drive results through effective material management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase high-quality materials at optimal costs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials.

Major Accountabilities

  • Identify alternative products, undertake cost-benefit analysis, and present findings to management.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement of assigned materials, ensuring timely delivery and payment to suppliers.
  • Optimize inventory by controlling lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Transfer excess dead stock to other locations.
  • Develop relationships with vendors through market research and joint improvement projects.
  • Coordinate effectively with all sites; conduct regular site visits.
  • Build strong networks within and outside the organization.
  • Monitor, review, and take timely corrective action to achieve targets.

Candidate Requirements

  • Expertise in construction materials.
  • Experience in high-rise buildings (desired).
  • Enhance product value and create annual rate contracts for alternative products/vendors or substituting OEM's.
  • Effective negotiation and presentation skills for coordination with all sites.
  • Inventory control by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Research-oriented role.
  • Continuous monitoring, review, and timely corrective action to achieve targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in purchase.
  • Real estate experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of property market dynamics, valuation, and laws.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in real estate management software and tools.
