About the Portfolio Monitoring Role

You will be working with a team that specializes in global market research, collaborating with top-rated investment research organizations and leading asset managers. The team caters to major financial institutions, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

What you will do at this position-

The selected candidate will join the Private Credit team responsible for portfolio monitoring. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare financial reports (PL, BS, and CF) using an Excel-based model or a lending platform, including key credit metrics calculation
  • Identify performance indicators and create reports for the credit review process
  • Calculate covenant compliance in line with facility agreements and provide detailed rationale for covenant Met/Breach results
  • Perform quarterly reviews and populate associated templates
  • Conduct financial analysis (historical and forecast, as well as operating, leverage, and liquidity ratios)
  • Verify/compute compliance against thresholds (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage, etc.)
  • Collateral analysis
  • Provide ad-hoc support to senior managers
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Manage team performance and development

We are looking for-

  • A Masters degree in finance, economics, or accounting from a reputable institution with 2+ years of experience in a similar profile
  • Strong financial skills and analytical expertise
  • Ability to identify issues effectively and ensure timely solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to practice attentive listening skills
  • Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working
