Refractory Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Refractory Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative refractory lining systems that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Refractory Lining Systems: Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for refractory lining systems based on project requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support during installation phases to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Inspections and Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and perform quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of material quality and installation excellence.
  • Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in refractory design and materials to continually improve our designs and services.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in ceramic engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in refractory design and engineering.
  • Engineering knowledge of materials, including strength and properties, as well as design engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo, for design and drafting purposes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
