Job Overview

As a Diploma Engineer Trainee, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of refractory installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and implement Calderys Safety Protocols at project sites.
  • Conduct regular safety toolboxes, site audits, and report near misses.
  • Maintain high-quality refractory installations by following SOPs as described in installation manuals.
  • Execute refractory installation jobs with strict adherence to refractory execution drawings.
  • Ensure timely project completion and obtain customer project completion certificates.
  • Prepare and submit MIS reports, including daily progress reports, tracking sheets, and material reconciliation.
  • Manage materials effectively at both store and project sites.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements at project sites.
  • Submit contractors' bills and customers' certifications for monthly billing.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Ceramics/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year in the Engineering/ Project Execution industry.
  • Skills:
    • Perseverance and result-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to create value and lead teams.
    • Strong organizational skills, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities.
    • Strategic thinking and ability to interpret financial data.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Leadership skills to deal with senior managers.
    • Good management skills and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
